19-year-old motorcyclist dies in North Kona crash

NORTH KONA (HawaiiNewsNow) – A 19-year-old man died Friday night in a motorcycle crash in North Kona, according to Hawaii Island police officials.
Police say he was overtaking vehicles on Queen Kaahumanu Highway near the 84-mile marker when he collided head-on with an SUV just before 6:45 p.m.
The SUV’s driver suffered minor injuries.
